Community Involvement
At Northwestern Mutual, making a difference in our community is important to us because an investment in community is an investment in the future. We are dedicated to improving the community in which we live, work, and play, through active involvement and meaningful participation. Personally, there are several organizations that I am proud to be a part of, below are few of those goups.
Cystic Fibrosis Fundraising Team (Team Ty) for Great Strides "Search for the Cure" Walk
I am also very proud to have been a part of the Colorado State University Athletics family. During my college basketball career, I was a 4 year letter winner, a 3 year starter and was named to the 1 st team All Western Athletic Conference (WAC) in 1994. Now I remain active in CSU Athletics By being a CSU RamClub member, a former President of the CSU Varsity Athletics Club member and a proud member of the CSU Alumni Association.
Professionally, I am part of the Northern Colorado Economic Development Council as a Leadership 2010 Supporter. Also, I am a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), for more information on NAIFA, please visit their website at .
From 1994-2004, I also ran the Shooter’s Touch Basketball camp here in Fort Collins, as well as the Yoder Basketball School in my Hometown in Indiana. These camps were for Boys and Girls in grades 2-9.
