Community Involvement

At Northwestern Mutual, making a difference in our community is important to us because an investment in community is an investment in the future. We are dedicated to improving the community in which we live, work, and play, through active involvement and meaningful participation. Personally, there are several organizations that I am proud to be a part of.  Below are a few of those goups.

Since 2010, my wife, Erika, and I have organized and directed the Yoder Christmas Basketball Camp with all profits donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  Our family has also participated in "Search for the Cure" Walks. For more Information on walks in your area click on this link.   General Information on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

I am also very proud to have been a part of the Colorado State University Athletics family.  During my college basketball career, I was a four-year letter winner, a three-year starter and was named to the 1st team All Western Athletic Conference (WAC).  Now I remain active in CSU Athletics By being a CSU RamClub member, a former President of the CSU Varsity Athletics Club member and a proud member of the CSU Alumni Association.

My family and I are also active members at Windsor Vineyard Church.

From 1994-2004, I also ran the Shooter’s Touch Basketball camp here in Fort Collins, as well as the Yoder Basketball School in my Hometown in Indiana. These camps were for Boys and Girls in grades 2-9.
